Eliquent Life Sciences has joined ExoCordOA, a €13 million, five-year Horizon Europe consortium coordinated by Exogenus Therapeutics that aims to advance extracellular vesicle-enriched secretome therapies toward clinical use, initially targeting osteoarthritis. The program intends to support Phase I and II development of Exogenus’s lead candidate, EXO-101, as a potential disease-modifying treatment, while addressing scientific, manufacturing, quality-control, and regulatory challenges that affect the translation of secretome-based medicines. Eliquent will provide regulatory development expertise to the ten-organization consortium, which includes biotechnology, manufacturing, clinical and academic partners such as Lonza, Anthony Nolan, Utrecht University and Maastricht University Medical Center+.
